How to Activate Your Faith

If you have been a born again Christian for even a short while, you would probably already know. Hebrew 11:1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen; KJV. Many of us just love to recite it. I do too. For me it sounds so comforting so alluring, yet, it stumps us doesn’t it?
Knowing what faith is has never been a problem. Exercising it really is the issue. How do you activate faith? How do you live by faith?
• You have to know The Word. Knowing the word helps you open up your mind to the endless possibilities. For example James5:17;Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months - KJV.
• Meditate on the Word. . Joshua 1:8; this is very crucial. Create time to just meditate on the word; you can also do it as you go about your affairs. Just dwell on the word. Let it fill your every waking moment.
• You have to take action daily: Every day you demonstrate faith by just leaving your home, and being confident that you would return. Take it up a notch and start challenging your faith. Growth happens when you gradually step out of your comfort zone. Matthew 14:29- And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
• You have to desire to have something better than whatever your circumstance is at the moment. You have to want it bad enough.
• Activating your faith is like a mindset over haul. Your language is a very important part of the whole process. Your words are like seeds. Plant what you want to reap. Be positive and expectant.
• Fear is an enemy that must be slayed at all cost. Do not entertain it. If you have it in any area of your life, confront it and you will find nothing. Fear will rob you of everything.
• Sometimes you have to wait to get what you seek. It is important to keep believing and not give way to doubt. Matthew 14:31- And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
