All Things Are Possible If You Can Believe

It is amazing how when you encounter a truth, suddenly that truth becomes more apparent and it literally begins to pursue you. For me lately that truth is that all things are possible to him that believes.
Notice that I used the word encounter. This is as opposed to hear about. I bet we have heard this over and over again. The vast majority of people would dismiss it. Others might agree and leave it there. Very few however take it seriously and meditate on it and fewer people still accept it and run with it.
That minority are the ones that go on to become the champions of our time, the genius, the icons and whatever we choose to call them.
The interesting fact in all of this for me is that the bible said this from the very beginning. Not many people paid attention. Christians recite it until they encounter situations that are in their human estimation insurmountable. Suddenly like Eve in Genesis 1:1, we begin to entertain doubt and wonder if all things really are possible.
In Genesis 11:6 NASB, The bible says “he LORD said, "Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them. Someone might say He was talking about the community. How about Mathew 17:20 “And He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Then again Luke 1:37 "For nothing will be impossible with God."
There are three very important ingredients that are required for all things to be possible for you. One is faith and the other is your word. The last is to do what the word says. We shall examine them carefully subsequently.
I will leave you with this thought. The principles of the word of God work for anyone that would assimilate it into their spirit and run with it. It is like the principle of the law of gravity. It is no respecter of person. Proverbs 4:5 says
Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
